Stephen Carroll is an award winning filmmaker based in Melbourne.

A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, Stephen’s short films have screened at film festivals all over the globe. Most notably, his short ‘Kin’ was selected in competition at the prestigious Locarno International Film Festival.

Stepping into the world of commercials and music videos, Stephen has quickly garnered a reputation for strong, performance driven storytelling.

Recently, he took home the award for SHOTS New Director Award Asia/ Pacific. The winning piece, ‘Always Coming Down’ for the band Cordrazine has gone on to win multiple awards including being part of the Young Director showcase at Cannes.
