Jono is fast building a reputation as a director to watch following his contribution to the highly successful Coke BURN campaign, with the beautifully realized Peepshow.

Jono studied at the Victorian College of the Arts, his graduating drama nominated for an impressive 4 AFI awards.  Jono went on to work on television drama The Secret Life of Us and directed a number of documentary projects, music videos and commercials before taking some time off from the industry to open the popular Brunswick cafes A Minor Place and more recently Wide Open Road.  Peepshow heralded Jono’s return to directing and in 2011, he officially joined Exit Films, directing The Wrestler spot for Nokia’s online E7 campaign.

Entrepreneurial, collaborative, with a beautiful visual approach, Jono has a unique ability to find and connect the essence of a story with the client brief.  Skilled in documentary and narrative storytelling, Jono’s particularly excited by the by trends toward branded content.
